JOHOR BARU: Police detained three local guys believed to be drug traffickers and seized pills worth RM3.2mil in 4 separate raids across the town, days in the past.
Johor police chief Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd stated the raids resulted from a collaboration between the Johor and Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Departments after detecting the group’s activities five months ago.
He stated the three men, aged between 27 and 31 years, believed to be the masterminds, had been arrested between 3 pm and 6 am.
They have been apprehended in three separate places, particularly a house and steel warehouse at Taman Mount Austin, the Kulai Toll Plaza, and a residence in Taman Desa Tebrau.
“The raids carried out netted 119, four hundred Erimin five drugs, 17,450 ecstasy drugs, eight,414g of ecstasy powder, 220g of ketamine, and 415g of liquid syabu,” he told Newshounds on Sunday (June 2).
Apart from capsules, he said police seized a Mercedes Benz, a Toyota Vios, a series, rings, Rolex and Casio watches, and cash amounting to RM2,350.
Mohd Khalil stated the medicine believed to be for the global and neighborhood markets had been acquired from a northern nation.
